Le Seonmudo est un art martial zen cor\u00e9en issu de la tradition bouddhiste Seon. Son d\u00e9veloppement moderne est attribu\u00e9 au ma\u00eetre Jeog Un Seol, qui a structur\u00e9 et diffus\u00e9 la discipline \u00e0 partir des ann\u00e9es 1984 depuis le temple de Golgulsa, en Cor\u00e9e du Sud. L’objectif du Seonmudo est d’unir le mouvement, la respiration et la m\u00e9ditation afin de favoriser l’\u00e9quilibre du corps et de l’esprit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En France, le Seonmudo a \u00e9t\u00e9 introduit par Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Foubert, ancien arbitre international et entraineur de taekwondo, apr\u00e8s son apprentissage en Cor\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s du ma\u00eetre Jeog Un Seol. Avec l’accord de ce dernier, il fonde en 1998 l’\u00c9cole Fran\u00e7aise et Europ\u00e9enne de Seonmudo (EFES) officialis\u00e9 en 2000, devenue par la suite Seonmudo France. Cette structure a pour mission de promouvoir la discipline, de former des instructeurs et de garantir un enseignement fid\u00e8le \u00e0 la tradition cor\u00e9enne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Depuis sa cr\u00e9ation, l’association a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper un r\u00e9seau de clubs en France et en Europe, creant une \u00e9cole de formation, organisant des stages nationaux et internationaux, accueillant les ma\u00eetres cor\u00e9ens et renfor\u00e7ant ses liens avec la World Seonmudo Federation et le temple de Golgulsa. Elle coordonne \u00e9galement les passages de grades, la formation des ceintures noires et enseignants et les \u00e9changes culturels avec la Cor\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
